Last night, I found Blondie & her feathers in the chicken run.  She was in shock, but alive.  So many feathers.

Online sites said to:  keep warm – check.  It was still in the high 80s.  Separate from flock – well, there’s only one other bird.  Give water with electroytes – didn’t have chicken electrolytes, but put a bowl in the coop with her.  I was going to take her to the back porch, but she went into the coop of her own accord.

I opened the coop around 7 today and neither chicken came out.  Speckles emerged around 7:30 and Blondie finally came out at 8.
